Recently, there is a kind of integrated rock arm on the market. Compared with the traditional rock arm, this integrated design eliminates the bucket cylinder and connects the forearm and the soil reliever into one, so that the forearm forms a whole arm.
Advantages of integrated rock arm:
1. Forearm is a whole block of high strength manganese steel cut, reduce welding and processing, lower cost.
2. The large arm is no longer a solid arm, but a hollow reinforced arm, which reduces the weight and reduces the overall performance loss of the excavator.

The innovative design of the integrated rock arm merges the oil path of the bucket cylinder and bucket rod cylinder into the pipeline of the bucket rod cylinder, increases the overall flow of the bucket rod cylinder, improves the power of the bucket rod cylinder, and increases the speed under certain circumstances. It does not change the overall hydraulic system of the excavator, with lower loss and greater power

Comparison of the one-piece rock arm with the previous rock arm:
1. On the surface, the old rock arm has one more action and is more flexible. In the actual work, because of the structural limitations of the soil reliever, the depth is limited when digging rocks with low hardness; The reliever is liable to break when digging hard rock. The one-arm rock arm replaces the forearm and the soil reliever with a whole steel plate. Although it sacrifices part of its flexibility, it completely solves the problem that the old rock arm is "soft but not deep, and the hard is easy to break".
2. The bucket cylinder of the old rock arm is more just to play a supporting role. The integrated arm eliminates the bucket cylinder and connects the oil pipe of the bucket cylinder to the bucket rod cylinder, which greatly improves the power and speed of the bucket rod cylinder.
3. From the working principle of the equipment, whether it is the traditional rock arm or the integrated arm, it can improve the destructive power of the soil reliever by increasing its dead weight. Simply put, the heavier the weight, the more it can be pressed. The weight of the old rock arm is mainly concentrated in the upper arm, and the weight of the integrated arm is mainly concentrated in the forearm. Most of the weight of the upper arm will be transferred to the body through the lifting cylinder, and only the weight of the forearm can be effectively transferred to the force point at the front end. In other words, the one-arm design allows for better weight distribution for better performance.
