1. Generally speaking, the conventional 200 excavator is equipped with a 9-meter sliding arm, which means that the depth can be more than 8 meters and nearly 9 meters without pressing the big arm down.
2. The standard configuration of the 9-meter sliding arm installed on a 200 excavator is to carry a 0.5 cbm bucket. If you want to carry a 0.6-0.8 cbm bucket, it is also possible, but the premise is that you need to add counterweights. A 0.6 cbm bucket needs to add 500 kilograms counterweights. If it is a 0.8 cbm bucket, it needs to be increased to 1.5 tons counterweights.
3. It is not recommended to carry a 12-meter sliding arm for the 200 excavator, because it will increase the load of the excavator, causing the arm to be top-heavy and inconvenient to work.
How big an excavator can be installed with a 12-meter long sliding arm?
Generally speaking, it is better to install a 12-meter sliding arm on 25ton excavator or more. Because the larger the excavator, the longer the big boom will be, so the longer the sliding arm can be installed. However, please note that installing a long sliding arm on a large excavator does not mean that a large bucket can be installed. It is generally recommended that the bucket installed should not exceed 1 cbm. If the bucket is too large, when the sliding arm is retracted and lowered, the bucket will hit the cab, causing the sliding arm to be unable to be lowered normally, which will cause the transportation to be too high.
